昭和46年（1971）4月17日生于台湾。大枝雄介九段门下。1984年来日。1986入段，同年9月二段，1987年三段，1989年四段，1990年五段，1996年六段，1998年七段，1989年棋圣战段战优胜。棋士会干事。杨嘉源八段是其兄。
